Recorded in the dramatic surroundings of the Philharmonie de Paris’ Grand Salle Pierre Boulez and one and a half years after sharing his magnum opus Music For Animals — described by PopMatters as “a musical waterfall of monumental proportions” — Nils announces a new live album, set for release via LEITER on December 6.

He has also just announced his first live dates for 2025 — in March, Nils will return to Australia, and in May, he will be touring North America, presenting his unique blend of music that flows between the worlds of experimental, ambient, and electronica.

The new album, titled Paris, will be available on 2LP vinyl as well as via all digital platforms — the first single, Spells, is out now.

Nils has unexpectedly confirmed details of a new collection of solo piano music, his first album since 2022’s three-hour Music For Animals. ⁠

Day will be released via LEITER on March 1st, and it will be available on limited edition vinyl as well as on all digital platforms. Recorded in the summer of 2022 in complete solitude and away from his studio at Berlin’s famed Funkhaus complex, it is preceded by the single Butter Notes, out now.

Nils and the team are getting ready for the last round of shows this year. They’ll be back in Poland for Inside Seaside Festival in Gdańsk, and will finally travel to France, Spain and Portugal for a couple of shows.
